Graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education, English Concentration, and East Carolina University with Masters in Education degree in Instructional Technology.

National Board Certified in Early Adolescent English Language Arts.


Proudly teaching in Randolph County Schools since 1997!

Sarah Allred taught Language Arts, Social Studies and Science in 6th grade classrooms for 14 years. She then became Lead Teacher taking on the role of a curriculum coach for other teachers.

Sarah has also worked with the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching, assisting with the development of the Seize the Data: Empowering Teachers with Data Literacy course. She has taught several instances of the course online, in workshops, as well as in NCCAT Seminars. She has been a presenter at NC Technology in Education Conference, and served with The Friday Institute as a Coaching Mentor in their NC Digital Learning Coaches Network and The Coaching Collaborative.



Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Allred attended Western Guilford High School.

Allred has been a resident of Archdale since 1997. 

Interests include reading, crafting, gardening, digital photography, and most importantly time with family.

Randolph County Schools is a great place to teach and learn because of the community pride and dedication to putting student learning first.
