The students at Braxton Craven Middle School celebrated Red Ribbon Week in a big way!  During the week of Oct. 24th, students participated in numerous lessons and activities planned by school counselor Susan Neeves.  Teachers led the lessons and activities on the importance of leading a drug-free life.

On Monday, students wore red to show their support.

Tuesday was Crazy Hat Day!

In addition to themed days, students completed a chalk activity outside on the blacktop.  Each student wrote his/her reason for choosing to be drug-free.

Homerooms also competed in a door decorating contest.  Doors were judged on Friday by Guil-Rand Deputy Chief Darren Pierce, Archdale Police Chief Shannon Craddock, and RCSS school board member Todd Cutler.  Mr. Phillip Ball’s class won 1st place with their “Don’t Follow the Pac” door.
